The King of Curses Can't Stop Me from Becoming an Idol Ch. 58

The two of them didn't even bother with a car—they just ran the whole way. Running was faster anyway. Mahito couldn't keep up with their speed, so Saitama had to carry him.

Mahito didn't want to be carried, but he didn't get a say in the matter.

In just a few minutes, the siblings arrived at the entrance of the Jujutsu Headquarters and stopped at the door.

"Hi there, Mr. Security Guard. I'm here to beat someone up today," Saki said politely, explaining her purpose for visiting.

Security guard: "......"

The poor guy was completely stunned. He just couldn't figure out why it always had to be him on duty whenever this girl showed up. And who the heck announces they're here to beat people up?!

At this rate, people were really going to start thinking he was her accomplice!

"No need to let them know I'm coming—I'll just head in myself," Saki added, striding in with her brother like she owned the place.

The barrier alarm around the Jujutsu Headquarters went off, but unlike last time, the security squad didn't rush out bravely to surround them.

Everyone just looked at each other, hoping someone else would make the first move. Honestly, they all wanted to pretend they didn't hear anything.

Couldn't really blame them. After getting beaten up twice, they knew very well there was a huge gap in strength. Going out there would just mean getting their asses kicked again—and they couldn't even stall long enough for the big shots inside to escape.

Still, even if they didn't want to go, they had no choice. They slowly dragged their feet toward the entrance, mentally comforting themselves with, 'Maybe she's just here to talk today?'

That fantasy shattered the moment they laid eyes on the girl.

Saki didn't waste a single word. She walked up and knocked one guy out with a punch, then immediately went for the second.

The second guy reacted fast. Realizing she was 100% here to fight, he let out a scream and collapsed before her punch even landed, then shut his eyes and played dead.

He figured if getting hit meant getting knocked out, then maybe knocking himself out in advance would hurt less.

Saki blinked in confusion. Did she even hit that guy?

"Big brother, am I already strong enough to hurt people without touching them?" she asked, turning to her brother in shock.

"Ki-chan, since when have you been secretly developing new powers behind my back?" Saitama asked back, equally stunned.

Mahito, deadpan, reminded them, "He's faking."

Only then did the security team notice Mahito was there too. There was even a special-grade cursed spirit with them. Their hearts sank even deeper.

They hesitated no longer.

"You, Sukuna's vessel—how dare you team up with a special-grade cursed spirit?!"

"And you brought a cursed spirit to invade Jujutsu Headquarters?!"

"We won't let you get away with this!"

With that, they charged in, yelling and shouting.

Then, one by one, they dropped like flies before they could even get close to the girl—each one letting out a scream before hitting the floor.

Soon, the ground was littered with groaning bodies.

Saki: "......"

Saitama: "......"

"Humans really are even more shameless than cursed spirits," Mahito couldn't help but mutter.

The way those people reacted left the siblings stumped. What were they supposed to do now? Go around dragging each one up and punching them again?

Forget it. After all, these were just grunts following orders.

Saki decided to skip straight to the top and cause trouble for the higher-ups. With Saitama and Mahito in tow, she headed directly to the conference room reserved for upper management. On the way, more guards kept trying to stop them.

Aside from a few idiots who actually charged in and got beaten up, most people either pretended they couldn't catch up or faked getting knocked out in the chaos.

The three of them made it to the conference room almost completely unchallenged.

The higher-ups were indeed in the middle of a meeting. Gojo Satoru was there too. The second the alarm sounded, everyone's faces changed.

But among them were two very different reactions.

One group looked shocked and grim.

They were the ones who supported winning Saki over. They hadn't taken part in the attempt to capture her, so they assumed the intruders were cursed users and special-grade curses coming to attack the Jujutsu Headquarters after hitting Jujutsu High.

The other group, though, looked terrified and full of regret.

They were the ones who had pushed for killing Saki. They were the ones who had secretly planned the operation. Judging by the timing—and the fact no one they'd sent out had reported back—it was pretty obvious who the intruders were.

Both sides looked to Gojo at the same time. No matter which scenario they were dealing with, only Gojo could possibly handle it.

"I'll go take a look," Gojo said casually, not even hesitating, and strolled out.

With Six Eyes granting him ultra-long-distance perception, he already knew exactly who the intruders were—so he was staying pretty chill about the whole thing.

He hadn't gone far when he came face-to-face with two siblings and a cursed spirit heading straight for him.

"Mr. Gojo, you're here," Saki said, stopping in her tracks.

"What's got you out here throwing punches all of a sudden?" Gojo asked, curious.

"They started it," Saki said at once, launching into an explanation about how the Jujutsu Headquarters had sent people to capture her and dr*gged the Inugane group.

Gojo didn't look surprised at all to hear someone had pulled some shady moves behind the scenes. He just sighed and said, acting troubled, "I don't mind you beating people up, but if you do it in front of me, I'll feel kind of conflicted."

"Ah, then what should I do? Want me to come back another time?" Saki asked, seriously considering the idea.

She really didn't want to make things hard for him.

"No need," Gojo said, shaking his head. Then he added solemnly, "Because I'm going to turn around."

And with that, he turned his back to them and even pointed helpfully toward the direction of the meeting room.

Saki: "......"

Saitama: "......"

Mahito wanted to say something sarcastic again, but since the person in question was Gojo Satoru, he kept his mouth shut.

Saki didn't waste any more time. She led the other two straight into the conference room and rounded up every higher-up—both the ones still hesitating about whether to flee, and the ones who had already started running.
